Backup over SSH to Remote Server
Hey all,
I just wanted to share this wonderful manual. I needed to backup stuff from one server from another, and found that this is a greatest way to backup your data from one server to another. May take some time though, specially if servers are in different datacenters.
Use tar command through network over ssh session -

[COLOR=#009900]A. The GNU version of the tar archiving utility (and other old version of tar) can be use through network over ssh session. Do not use telnet command, it is insecure. You can use Unix/Linux pipes to create actives. Following command backups /wwwdata directory to dumpserver.nixcraft.in (IP 192.168.1.201) host over ssh session. [/COLOR]

# tar zcvf - /wwwdata | ssh [EMAIL="root@dumpserver.nixcraft.in"]root@dumpserver.nixcraft.in[/EMAIL] "cat > /backup/wwwdata.tar.gz"
OR
# tar zcvf - /wwwdata | ssh root@192.168.1.201 "cat > /backup/wwwdata.tar.gz"
Output:
tar: Removing leading `/' from member names

Now just Enter password and your backup has started!

SSH Public key based authentication - Howto
Create the Cryptographic Key on FreeBSD workstation, enter: $ ssh-keygen -t rsa
Assign the pass phrase (press [enter] key twice if you don't want a passphrase). It will create 2 files in ~/.ssh directory as follows:
~/.ssh/id_rsa : identification (private) key
~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub : public key
Use scp to copy the id_rsa.pub (public key) to rh9linux.nixcraft.org server as authorized_keys2 file, this is know as Installing the public key to server. $ scp .ssh/id_rsa.pub [EMAIL="vivek@rh9linux.nixcraft.org:.ssh"]vivek@rh9linux.nixcraft.org:.ssh[/EMAIL]/authorized_keys2
login to server:
$ ssh rh9linux.nixcraft.org

Although these programs were somewhat helpful, they weren’t all that sophisticated.
Over the years, autoresponders have changed quite a bit, proving to be very useful with big companies and even Internet marketing. These days, autoresponders are used by businesses and companies to give immediate response and feedback to interested clients and subscribers. This could include a response about programs, information about pricing, specific details regarding a product, and even a time that someone from the company can get in touch with the client.
